Helpful Tips to Know

  • RELAX! Recruitment is about meeting new friends and making memories! Relax and Be Yourself.
  • During each round, you will meet many women and have the opportunity to learn about sorority activities and sorority life. You are encouraged to ask any questions you have about membership in a particular sorority.
  • Keep an open mind about all chapters. Do not allow anyone to influence your decisions.
  • While in each event, notice what each sorority has to offer and what makes each of them unique.
  • No purses or cell phones should be carried during Recruitment Week.
  • You will be given a ziplock bag to carry the essentials. You will carry these bags from one event to another and then your recruitment counselor will watch it during the event.
  • Other items you may want to put in your ziploc are: flip flops, extra makeup and sunscreen, deodorant, hairbrush, pen or pencil, snacks, and a small umbrella.
  • BE COMFORTABLE! It will be extremely hot so you want to make sure you will be comfortable moving around outside and sitting on the ground.
